Approach
This redesign had it's ups and downs. I was so focused on the original design that I initially struggled with adjusting the original design to be more user friendly towards my new demographic. I had tried out a few different styles and elements, but nothing seemed to really be working and I couldn’t get it to a place I liked.
Ultimately, I found that I was trying to hard to make it look playful and had started to disregard functionality and accessibility. Once I reassessed what I found working versus not working, I was able to come up with a design I was happy with.
